There's loads of woodland to explore around the centre, so do go for a look. It's a pretty popular place though people spread out round the park so it's never over run.

Bring a ball for your children since there is a big grassed clearing in the middle.

There's places to BBQ or just have a nice nature walk, there's also bike trails and a reserve you can swim in with cliffs to jump from. Lots of wallabies and some kookaburras to see; the Koala Sanctuary is currently under construction until 2018. There's parking near the entrance and you must walk about 20 minutes down a gravel road to get to the swimming. It's an old mine that got filled, so don't swim alone or at night.

The BBQ spots can be very popular so get there early however you need not worry about firewood as there is always plenty provided.

Excellent family place, the koala conservation centre is really good and nice to see our koala's interest being looked after in keeping the population from declining. Without help our furry little animals won't survive for too much longer with the population declining at the rate it is.

Nice, quiet little park, and a good place to spot a Koala or two. You can't handle the Koalas here, so don't get your hopes up! You can get really close though, and they're cute little things.
